Lorna is a general sonographer with over 17 years’ experience in paediatric ultrasound. For many years she worked at Sydney Paediatric Radiology where she was taught ultrasound by Prof Albert Lam and other paediatric radiologists. Whilst there she helped streamline the hip ultrasound screening program for infants at risk of developmental dysplasia of the hips (DDH) at Westmead Hospital, Sydney.
Lorna has given paediatric ultrasound presentations at international, national and local meetings together with workshops especially in hip ultrasound. She enjoys teaching, sharing knowledge and learning new techniques to advance the field of paediatric sonography.
Lorna currently works at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and the Sydney Adventist Hospital at Wahroonga.
