Dr Budhavaram (Bud) is an accomplished specialist breast and general surgeon. After completing her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Dr Bud undertook further training as part of a Master of Surgery (MS) after which she was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland. In 2011, she moved to Australia and pursued a fellowship in general surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). Following this successful fellowship, Dr Bud underwent sub-specialty and accredited oncoplastic advanced breast surgery training under Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand (BreastSurgANZ) at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth. At the same time, she completed a master’s degree in breast surgery from the University of Sydney as part of an academic program in the management of breast cancers. She is a member of the Breast Cancer Trials Group (BCT) and the Australian Society of Breast Diseases (ASBD). Dr Bud provides breast surgery and general surgical services at Royal Perth Hospital, Fiona Stanley Hospital, St John of God Midland and Subiaco Hospitals. Dr Oliver is an experienced General Surgeon whose focus is the care for patients with: Breast Conditions: Breast Cancer, Benign Breast conditions, Oncoplastic Breast Surgery (breast reduction techniques in cancer treatment), Implant Based Breast Reconstruction. For breast conditions Dr Oliver can provide immediate diagnostic ultrasound of the breast, as well as ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration and core biopsy. This allows the provision of a streamlined and quick assessment. Dr Oliver has developed expertise in implant-based breast reconstruction following mastectomy.
