The Peter McCallum Cancer Centre is the only public hospital in Australia dedicated to cancer. It is the largest cancer research facility in Australia with active engagement and collaboration between local and international researchers and clinicians. Exposure is primarily to breast cancer, but opportunities for breast cancer genetics, attendance at Breast Screen and reconstruction both immediate, delayed and more complicated are part of this role.
Oncoplastic procedures 50+ per year, reconstruction 70+ per year, no general surgery or on-call allow opportunities for new and established research projects to occur.
Other: Familial Cancer Centre, Breast Screen, reconstruction service, medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology and research program

Breast Oncoplastic Surgery:
Oncoplastic procedures 50+ per year

Breakdown of hours:
8 day fortnight, rotating roster with registrar responsible for 5 outpatient clinics per week, 8 theatre lists, on-call negotiable

Salary:
Full time salary equivalent to Senior Registrar salary (or greater) and minimum salary package and requirements and conditions as required by law in the Hospital jurisdiction will apply
